Does not Convey--what does this mean?

Water treatment system "does not convey".

Saw this in an MLS listing for a house.

Means whoever buys the house doesn't get the water treatment system. It goes with the seller.

I can't imagine it is easy that's for sure! LOL~ Can't believe they are so cheap that they are carting it with them.

It probably means they are renting it from Culligan or whomever and they will have the softener removed when they leave.

When we bought our house, the former owners offered to let us take over their contract but we declined and the company came and retrieved the unit before we moved in.

It's not a matter of being cheap. My water softener cost around $4000. If you had a $4000 refridgerator, you'd probably take it with you.

You're right, though. The family may just be renting the water softener....or maybe that's where they hide the dead bodies.
