Does no campfires allowed mean no marshmellow roasting?

I saw the posting about no campfire. Does that cancel all the marshmallow roasting too? Wondering if I still need to pack that chocolate.

We've made s'mores in the microwave when we were desperate . . .

Seriously though, it is dangerously dry here and we could really use some rain. I've been smelling smoke every day driving to work. The rainy season doesn't usually kick in until the end of May, so it may get worse before it gets better. I would not be surprised if fireworks were banned as well.

It could have been possible that while individual fires are restricted the resort was allowing their CM-controlled fires.

All of the announcements I have seen included CM-controlled fires at the resorts.

That's what I was wondering. A short controlled burn in a concrete fire pit.

Regardless of the campfire ban, you should always pack the chocolate.

Well, of course chocolate is on the standard packing list, but the question is what kind. We tend to bring along the mini bars....smaller than fun size, but still too thick for smores. Once we tried dove bars, but they didn't melt enough. Guess only the standard thin hershey bars will do. I guess I can leave something of my DH at home, bring along extra chocolate. LOL
