Does Mouse Gear stink for anybody?

Every time I walk into that store, it stinks like a dirty diaper. I was there in 2011 and 2014, and it still has the same stink. What is going on?

Don't recall mouse gear smell but to me nothing is as smelly as the monorail. Ugh. Smells like the pachyderm house at our zoo.

The smell is terrible if you enter MouseGear through the doors by Electric Umbrella. We always smell it there & also across the way in the breezeway by Character Spot. The smell is of raw sewage. You are not alone in smelling it! We always comment about how nasty it is. Has been that way for years, too!

Wow...never noticed that myself. Now I'm intrigued...must hunt stinky-poo-smell at Mouse Gears. ;)

All of them? or is there a particular one? Have never smelled anything offensive on the monorail. Even a dirty diaper from a stroller or an errant waft of B.O. Intrigued by this too. :stitch2:

Yes. We were in there Tuesday and my 6 yo noticed how awful it smelt. It is just at the entrance and goes away once further inside.

Counting down to 14th May!

YES! The monorail always stinks-exactly like the zoo.
I'm excited to check for the Mouse Gear smell ;)

Yep, my bf and I noticed it when we were there in February. I had been several times in the past, but that's the first time I smelled the dirty diaper smell, and it was awful. We only passed through, we didn't stop to shop because it was that bad. It's a shame, too, because Mouse Gear is some of the best shopping in all of WDW.

The monorail smell totally reminds me of a horse stall. I'm not sure if it's the plastic seats or the flooring, but yeah, it reeks of horse.

Yup - Noticed it at that entrance last year too. I just thought a CM had eaten one too many Mickey Bars for lunch.

The monorail smell comes from the cleaner that is used inside. It just happens to smell like urine.

That is so interesting.

I like the smell in MouseGear.

Maybe it's a weird genetic thing, like how some folks like Cilantro and some cannot tolerate the taste!?

My husband hates the smell but I hardly notice it. He complains about it every time we pass. Sometime I think he exaggerates it so we don't have to spend as long shopping.

Yes, it smells like sewage, especially near the entrance on the Test Track side.

Yes, it smells by the breezeway. I can't remember it ever smelling on the monorail, although I barely use that for travel.

If i remember correctly there are rest rooms on the world of motion side of the building. They may have a vent issue.
