Hi fellow fans,

Last nite my sister brought up the idea of bringing the kids to WDW in October and also hitting the Not So Scary party during our trip. We've never gone before.

My question: a) our visit is tentative
b) exact dates of tentative visit are unknown
c) may not know kids schedules until mid to late summer

How long do you think we can wait before buying tickets. Don't want to purchase these and then find out we're not going or won't be there on days we bought tickets to party.

Please help. Thank you. (Our tentative thought was to go to party on October 6 or 7, 2005)

Over the years the only parties that I have heard to sell out are Oct 31 and the friday before. As it gets closer the week of Halloween might have a mid week sell out but not every year.

The 31st always sells out. Sometimes days right before the 31st depending on what day it falls on will sell out, but that's hard to predict. Last year, the 9th sold out (cause we were there that night). It was Columbus Weekend, so I guess be prepared for that possibility on the Fri. of Columbus weekend. But most other dates dont'. I would suggest getting tickets as soon as you decide the dates...and the sooner the better. You should be okay waiting, especially if you have 2 night options like you do. If one sells out, you should be able to get the other....I've never seen 2 in a row early in the month sell out.
