Does Magical Express pick up from the parks

So many ME thread. Will ME pick up from the parks or only certain hotels? Assuming the answer is 'no', can we catch ME from a hotel other than where we are staying? Assuming we spend the morning of our departure day in EPCOT and we are staying at OKW and check in at the hotel, can we walk to the Beach Club and get a bus from there to save time?

No and no...DME will only pick you up from the resort where you are staying.

only the resort you are staying and at the time they tell you. Make sure to not be late because they won't wait for you and although it might sound too early to take ME, you really need all the time they allow in order to catch your flight.

Town Car or Taxi maybe cheaper than renting one way

Ability to leave for the airport from the park is where the rental car shines.

With a car service, you also have go back to your resort to get the carryons.

Whether from the resort or from the park, your gearshift has to be in drive at least 2-1/2 hours before flight time otherwise you stand a good chance of being late.

That's why I started the thread. I'm weighing my options. And seashore hit the nail on the head, because we will have carry ons, which makes a big difference. I wasn't sure if the Test Track cars had trunks

Trouble was, I was checking some of the discount car rental sites and couldn't find the locations inside WDW (Car Care center and the Swan/Dolphin). What should I enter when searching non-company sites for cheap rentals?

For location put in Orlando and sometimes you get the "all" option and can select from there. On National's site you click Florida then Orlando and you can see the Swan and CCC options. For some others at the DTD hotels, you have to look at the addresses.

The trick was entering Lake Buena Vista. Final question - we're waitlisted for BWV, but for now we're at OKW. How would we get from there to the Car Care Center, since I assume that would be the better location than the Dolphin from OKW?

But if you're going to be at Epcot, the renter could walk over to the Dolphin and pick up the car, then drive around to the front of the park and meet everyone - where they'd be waiting with the carry-ons you'd all stored in the lockers at at the park.

I solved the problem. Instead of picking it up in the morning, I changed the reservation to an hour before the car care center closes on Sunday. I can leave whichever park I'm at and arrange to have the shuttle pick me up at the nearest hotel (I'll most probably be in EPCOT). The funny thing is, by making the change, I saved myself a couple of dollars. Not sure why, since either way, I'm within a 24-hour window.
