I am calling tomorrow to reserve this as a surprise for DD's Sweet 16 so I don't want it to show up on MDE anywhere. Does it link up automatically? I wonder if I should use a work phone number or different email when I call to book.
So ... I just booked a KTTK tour for myself, no confirmation e-mail, it won't be on my MB from what PP says. All I have to go on is the confirmation number the reservation line gave me? Is that sufficient?

It does not show on MDE neither does BBB! You have to write down your confirmation number and that is all you get. You can add it to the notes section in the MDE app though .

I will definitely have the confirmation number with me plus I've already added it to the notes of MDE.
Question - Where does one go to "check in" for the tour? This will actually be my first time going to a park before opening for anything and I haven't a clue what the procedure is.
Thanks! But how do I get into the park before opening? Is there one turnstile open for ppl with reservations for things (tours, breakfast etc)? Never been in a park before opening
Other posters are correct that it won't show up in MDE.
But keep in mind that Disney will eventually be moving towards having all reservations for everything show up on the app. I'm guessing that you are touring relatively soon so I wouldn't worry about it.
If you are booking 120-180 days in advance (which I think you can), then the tours will probably start showing up in the app in the meantime. However, you'd still probably have to manually link the reservation. I don't think it would just automatically show up.
