Does Jetblue usually extend their best Price?

Does Jetblue usually add flights at their lowest rate.

For instance right now I can get $113-$134 flights down, which I would be okay with, but the times are very late to be landing. Is it probable JB will extend those prices to earlier flights?

Thanks for any input. BTW, I see SW has the departure date (Nov. 5) avail. as of today. So, technically the competition has announced. ( I was kinda waiting for that).

Usually the price goes up as lower price tickets are sold. If the flights with the better times have higher price tickets its because all of the cheap tickets for that flight have been sold already. Its possible they may have a sale and offer lower prices at some point in the future but you can't really count on it.

I agree with deedee that the earlier flight lower price seats are gone. You may find it lower at some point during a sale or promotion, but you would have to be incredibly diligent in watching to get that and it may never come. If you are comfortable with the price offer and sort of comfortable with the time I would say book it.

I've been watching everyday, sometimes a couple times a day since before the Nov rates came out, and how they are now is just how they were when they were released a week or so ago. I understand about supply and demand, I'm sure that is why some flights are higher than others. I was just hoping maybe since it is prior to the Thanksgiving rush, that they might extend the low $ rate to more popular flight times.

So, if I understand you both, you believe the low rates will increase? With a result of Jetblue not offering any flights this day for under the $163? Even nondirect? I know the days of $69, 74 or 89 for a direct flight are probably gone, but geese, $163 for a flight from Boston to MCO with a stop in dc or jfk making it a 6 or 8 hr fllight!!! :scared1:

Oh well, atleast going down I can hold onto the fact I am going to my happy place.

Thanks for the help.

I'm happy to see that you all are heading back to WDW in the fall. We're going back in Sept. Took advantage of the 40% off for the BC. I have to tell you, I got the worst rates on JB than I ever have; but it's the only airline I'll fly anymore so I expect to deal with it. I'm paying $350/RT BOS to MCO. It's the most I've ever paid, but I was afraid to wait for the rates to go down. Only because I don't think they will. :sad1: I heard somewhere that the lowest rates are posted on Wednesday nights really late. You could try that. I'm like you though, I like to head out of Boston on the first flight and leave MCO late afternoon. Good luck on your flights. Keep in touch!
