Does Jetblue ever go lower than $59 one way?

I was just curious, we've never flown with them and may book with them once the Nov. dates come out.
We were spoiled by $34 and $39 each through SW last year-LOL!

And here I celebrate when Jetblue has SYR to MCO for $99.

I don't know how low they go to MCO, but you can often get SYR to JFK for $39. But that's less than an hour flight.

Even if JetBlue has gone that low in the past, it doesn't mean it will ever happen again. Fuel prices are really high; I agree with Barb, that $99 fare is great - especially since the BUF-MCO planes stop in Boston, and when the latest fares were released it was the same price for BOS-MCO! It was like getting the BUF-BOS flight free!

i always considered $200 roundtrip from JFK to be a good deal. the only one who competes with JB in my experience for here is Delta and I'd rather pay a few bucks (literally - at most) more for JB.

plus JB in the news reports that the weather problems in feb cost JB $40 million dollars, more than 1/3 of its stock value and ultimately its President/CEO.

i recall SWA announcing it was raising prices too, albeit only by a couple of bucks per flight

Not likely at this rate. I booked my flights for August back in Feb. I got one seat from Boston to MCO for $99, then had to do the other two seats. They were each $124. I could only book one seat at the $99. Then, 3 seats from Tampa to Boston were $154 each. I bought them, figuring what the heck...they'll most likely go down and I'll get a credit.
Ah, nope. My flights to MCO are now at $174 as are the Tampa to Boston flights. The fares, at least in my case, went the wrong way. That's what I get for flying on Sundays!!

Thanks for the input!
We will be flying out of Newark if we can get the $59 through JB otherwise I'll have to wait for SW out of Philly. Wish they'd release til the end of nov. already!!!

December 2005 JB had some flights into Orlando for $39. each way, that was our first time flying with them.
August 2006 they had $39. each way into Dulles.

I'm trying to wait until Jetblue goes back down to $59 to fly out of Newark. I am now looking at $109-$159 for the flight times that I want. But, I'm not panicked just yet because a couple of weeks ago that was the same prices I was looking at for my return flight and low and behold when I had decided to just go ahead and purchase the tickets, they had dropped to $59.
So I'm offically on watch now so I can pounce on it as soon as it drops.:rotfl2:

That's what I got. So, that IS a good price? And it likely won't go down? First time ever for me to fly out of SYR. I'm doing it because it is close (2 hours) to where DD goes to school. More than a little nervous to be driving to SYR, and flying on JB (first time for them). Nervous....but excited!

I have $59 out of Newark to MCO for Aug. I'm hoping the return drops!

Jet Blue just started the Orlando-Dulles route this month. Didn't it? :confused3

I've booked a couple of $59 flights already.

Best I've gotten with SW is $49 this year, and that was only for one leg of a roundtrip flight on a DING fare.

Debbie, I live in Syracuse too... $99 is pretty good for JB out of SYR, or Rochester or Buffalo for that matter (although some folks have better luck with SW out of Buffalo or Albany). Tradtionally, airfare out of most upstate NY airports is relatively high - taxes are high, the overall the cost of doing business upstate is high, so airlines are not terribly excited about expanding their operations and offering some competition. JB has bucked the trend somewhat.

Lots of Canucks drive down the SYR to fly to MCO - it's still a lot cheaper than most flights out of Canada!
