Does Jeff Haslam know what he’s drinking?

Hello friends, on the recent DVC Show podcast, Jeff confesses to a new favourite drink from the UK pavilion. To an Englishman like myself, that cider/lager/blackcurrent amalgamation is a Snakebite & Black. It’s a drink reprobate field hockey players prepare in watering cans, then consume en mass while pretending to play sports in a field. I have so many tour shirts stained purple from this horrific yet addictive drink, I smile and shudder at the memories. Had to put this on here since I can’t find a way to tell Mr Haslam directly

Absolutely agree with you BennyBoyWrench. It has certain connotations over her in the UK and none of they are positive. Snakebite brings to mind teenagers and students drinking to excess often after hockey or lacrosse or in student bars. It's not a drink I'd recommend to other despite being one of those teenagers. Yes US friends, it's legal for 18 year olds to drink in the UK.
