Does it really cost more if you book your vacation closer to the date than farther?? For instance, I booked our trip in November for February which is a lot closer than some of the people I've seen on here. But, what if I would have booked only say...60 days in advance? Would the price had been more or would I have only had to deal with possibly not getting the ADR's I want or the room I want? Thanks for any responses.

I think the rack rates stay the same once they are published so there is no change in price regardless of how soon you book. I think what makes a difference is any discounts available. Only a certain number of rooms can be booked at a particular discount rate. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to have a discount rate available. The later you book, the more likely those discounted rooms will be gone.

I think this right but someone will correct me if I'm wrong

I know we save money going through AAA and booking far in advanced. Every little bit helps.

Ok, I see. I was just wondering because having to wait so long for our trip is driving me nuts!!:rotfl:

I just joined AAA so I guess we will check that out next time.:thumbsup2

Anymore I can wait over 3 months to go back.
