Does it matter who shows up for reservation?

If I make a reservation under my name for 2 adults and one child and then my brother decides to go in my place with his wife and daughter, would the Disney restaurants care? I guess what I am trying to ask is does it matter who shows up as long as the number of people remains the same? Does the name on the reservation have to match the name on the KTTW card? Thanks for your help.:flower3:

Nope, it doesn't matter. As long as you use the right name to check in, they don't care who pays the bill!

Not unless it's a prepaid reservation like CRT or a dinner show. Even then, not sure they ask for ID but they will need to give your name.

I think it may make a difference if there are Dining Plan credits involved...

My family had an ADR for dinner at Chef Mickey's on Thanksgiving last year, using the dining plan. Due to DD15's illness, we could not make it. Some friends of ours used the ADR instead...they checked in as us & just told the server they were going to pay "out of pocket". No problem!

Does anyone know this for sure?

We were thinking of doing the same thing. We were wondering if our friends could use our Chefs de France reservation. They would want to use their Dining Plan credits, though.

When we were there in March, I had to show my drivers license at check in but we also paid this one OOP. May be different if it's just dining credits.

As it turns out, everything worked out for us. Our friends used our reservation at Chefs de France using their dining plan credits, and we went to Bistro de Paris using their reservation.

(We were short on dining plan credits for the week, anyway, and they didn't realize that Bistro wasn't on the dining plan, so it worked out for all of us.)
