Does it matter where/how I buy my tickets?

These were the youth in education tickets so only mail option. We got them fast but I couldnt believe that they were just thrown on the doormat!

What I've always found for things like this is, that if where you work (if it's an office) will let you, just have them sent there so that the receptionist signs for them/receives them instead of them being slung on your doormat at any time during the day to lay there until you get home.

I know that's not an option for everyone, but if it is, definitely do it.

Been last 5 yrs and only by online..
We buy from Wildatwork , they offer a slight discount .
then print them out at home.. and take straight to gate and never had a problem

I'll have to see if that's an option for me but I don't think so because I have access to the "tickets at work" website. Unfortunately they do not offer one day tickets. I did get a great deal on our USH front of line passes...

Edit to add that I didn't realize I could buy them at the Disney store. We live very close to a mall w/ a Dis store so I'll head over there tomorrow night after work. Leaving for CA the following day! Can't wait.

I have a yahoo email address and always buy my tickets online direct through Disney. I've never had any problems with any Disney resort (have bought for DLP and HKDL as well as DLR), and have had the same situation as the PP where we have lost a ticket and been able to have it replaced.

Just called my local Disney store and they sell only WDW 3-7 day tickets. I guess my best bet is to plan on going to DTD the night before and walk over to the ticket counter from there.

To add another wrinkle to this, I just went on the Disney website and was doing a dummy order for the 1 day PH tickets to check the price. Our current plan is a one day visit with the slimmest possibility to add a 2nd day if we feel like we really need it. My understanding has been that we can upgrade our tickets on day 1 to add day 2 and just pay the difference in price, making that decision on the fly. However.... During my dummy order, a pop up come up offering to add a 2nd day for $28 more per ticket. The website has 2 day PH at $67 more per ticket. Is this right? If so, we need to make that decision now and buy online if we're doing the 2nd day...

I just tested this out and the $28 upgrade is to a 2 day one park per day ticket, not a 2 day park hopper ticket.

I almost always purchase my tickets at way.com. They email you the actual ticket that you turn in at the turnstile to exchange for the small park hopper ticket. Here is the difference in price:

1 day ph - Disney $150, way.com $140
2 day ph - Disney $217, way.com $202

These tickets can be upgraded to add another day at Disneyland. Some people have reported that they got credit for the full price of the ticket instead of the discounted price that they paid way.com. I have never done it so I can't say for sure. You aren't suppose to I wouldn't think. I have read it on the board several times that they have gotten full credit though so who knows what might happen.

How about way.com? They offer 1-day PH, and reviews (found on this site) appear to be all good. I'm considering this option myself for later this summer....but still trying to fit it in the budget :thumbsup2

Just to close this out and add to the data about way.com: I ordered the tickets online at 7pm. Received a confirmation email immediately. About 2 hours later I received an email asking for name and address for the tickets. Replied to that and several hours later (245am) I received the pdf of my tickets. Easy but not immediate so don't wait until you're heading out the door!

Thanks to those that suggested way.com. Saved us $30 so thanks for lunch!

Thanks for the update sharona! I've yet to use way.com, but am really leaning towards it in order to get my DL fix, on our upcoming SoCal trip.

Knowing it worked well for you AND saved some $$$........I'm hoping to convince the hubs to actually go for it :woohoo:

I posted earlier that I normally use way.com. I will say one time I used them and received my tickets within 2 hours. Another time I used them and received my tickets within 2 days. I wasn't worried it anything because I have used them before and know they are a good company to work with. So I agree, do not wait until the last minute to order them.

Would the same be said for a 4 day PH ticket?

Does anyone know if way.com is available to non-US residents?

Or where in LA would be a good place to buy tickets in the days beforehand?

Previously I have only bought a package or SoCal city pass

I have read that non-US residents can order from Way.com but they have to call and order instead of placing an order online.

Disney 4 day ph is $289 and Way.com is $264. Way.com also sells CityPass tickets too for $309.

I've used way.com and I am in canada. The only difference for me was that I had to call in my order instead of processing it online. Quick and easy to do and I had our passes emailed to me within a coupe of hours. Definitely would use them again.

Is this the best and/or cheapest place to buy park tickets?

Better than mouseSavers/aResTravel?
