Does Illuminations at EPCOT leave anyone else awestruck.

I love all of the other parks nighttime shows and parades, but there is something about Illuminations: Reflections of Earth that just gets me. It literally has brought tears to my eyes. The first time I saw it, I was speechless.

Just wondering if I was alone in this.

I was the same exact way when we first saw it a few weeks ago! Tears to my eyes and everything, I felt so silly ...but I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one!

Illuminations was my favorite out of all three night shows....and Epcot is also my favorite park.

Yes! Wishes is sweet, Fantasmic is fun, but Illuminations is my real favorite!

Love it, everytime! Nice way to end the day since when we go in Sept. many of the parks close earlier. We end a lot of our days at Epcot.

We taped it from our most recent trip but it just does not do it justice as seeing it live and hearing the music, feeling the heat from the flames..**sigh*** its just not the same!

Illuminations really gets to me. It will make me tear up. Easily. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and hear the music it in my head.

But what really causes me to lose it 'holiday' tag. I'm not a religious person, so things like the candlelight processional do nothing for me, but when Walter Cronkite starts talking about 'peace on earth' it starts the water works. It is a message I can certainly get behind.

My party was having dinner at le cellier back in december before the show and I gave them warning that I would probably fall apart during it. During the show, they kept looking at me during every dramatic part. Until I yelled 'STOP LOOKING AT ME!'.

I feel much better now. Thank you for making me feel less like a crazy person. I was watching someone's very jumpy badly pixelated home movies of it last week on Youtube and I still got misty eyed. My bf looked over form his online MMO at his computer and asked me what was wrong. Then he looked at the screen and made his usual comments about how I was obsessed with Disney and needed therapy.

Illuminations is my absolute favorite! I get teary eyed just listening to the soundtrack.
