Does HHN get better every year, or just recycled?

I've been going for the past 5 or 6 years, and I get the impression it's just repackaged stuff. I've even noticed some of the same props (particularly in their annual "funhouse/clown-themed" house).

This is not a criticism towards HHN. I look forward to seeing familiar chain saw guys, zombies, etc. But I guess it would be cool if one year they literally had 6 totally new and different houses and completely different types of characters. Maybe they're running out of ideas after 14 of these?

I wouldn't call it running out of ideas, but it saves a whole lot of money by being able to recycle past props. I'm fairly certain, that we'll continue seeing that this year. The early word on the houses do sound interesting though.

Just because props are recycled doesn't mean the house isn't brand new. Although it is bothersome to see something like the Treaks & Foons, which were created for a specific theme, get used over and over, seemingly regardless of the new theme.

Hopefully this year brings some fresh air to the event. The backstory seems interesting enough.

there are some things that i have missed from past hhn.

last year no foam over in marvel................i missed the foam

Has anyone been checking out the HHN website? The clues are very strange. It's fun trying to figure out where they're going with it. ;)

i think the clues that are given are geared towards the die hard HHN fans.
i tell ya, go read up on the chainsawwolf board to get more insight.

one of the members there wrote out the entire poem with info on it.
same with the map on how it is located in the park for this years event.

i think the average hhn guest is interested in seeing the houses , scarezones and attractions. they pick up the hhn map look at it and take it from there.
a lot of them do not even think of the theme of hhn.

i check out the website all the time.
when something changes, which the time on the clock at the beginning, it is posted immediately on the board.
