Does Free Dining negate other discounts?

Hello, I have never used the dining plan before, but was wondering - if I book with the current 30% off moderate offer, and find out I have a free dining pin, can i use both?

Nope. Only one discount at a time. You'll have to do the math to see which one is best for you. Usually it's free dining at the moderates.

Yep - only one discount at a time. It's important to figure the math because it could make quite a difference depending on where you're staying, your family size and kids ages. Our kids are considered adults for the dining plan, so if we're staying moderate or value, the free dining would usually be a better discount for us than 30% off the room.

But not for me and my crew. The room only discount works for us. We are eating at a lot of restaurants that aren't on the dining plan, so it would not behoove us to take advantage of free dining.
