Random question for FF+ experts: Does FF+ consider when you have an ADR? Like could you get a FF+ in a 6-7pm window if you have an ADR at 6:30pm for a restaurant?

Do people reserve FF+'s during EMH? Are EMH even a thing anymore???

It's FP+, by the way, meaning FastPass+. :goodvibes

MDE will tell you if you have a conflicting ADR when you're making a FP+ (not FF+) reservation, but it won't keep you from making it.

This is exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks!

And sorry about the mess up on the abbreviation. Don't know where that came from! :confused3

MDE did not tell us when we had a conflict. I had booked and ADR and then let my 19yo daughter choose our FP+ choices; it was her birthday trip. We were unable to make two of our FP choices because of ADR for the candlelight processional. I should have looked at our plans and rearranged the FP+ times. Logistically we couldn't have made it to either FP+ because our ADR fell right in the middle of both times and was too far away from either attraction. It was our oversight, but I do wish that MDE had sent us a warning.

I did get an email the next day when Space Mtn went down. It allowed us to choose another FP option and gave us about 8 to choose from. I think a text would have been better than an email though. Not many people are checking email in the parks, but will respond to a text.

Actually, MDE would NOT let me make a FP+ for two full hours after my ADR time started. I know others have posted that they only received a message noting the conflict but that they were allowed to make the FP+. I had to cancel my ADR; make my FP+ reservations; then make my ADR again.

I thought it was interesting that the system wouldn't let me make a FP+ during a scheduled ADR time but it would let me make an ADR during a scheduled FP+ time!?! Strange!

When I think about it, I think I only got the ADR warnings when I went back in to change the time of each individual FP+. I don't think it ever gave me the warning when I made the original group of three FP+ reservations. This was for an October trip.

I have just made FP+ reservations for February. I am getting a visual pop up message in the window with the choice of FP times ("overlaps with your ADR at ____") It does, however, allow you to select these. I am often selecting the first plan as an overlap, and then reentering to change the individual attraction's time. This is not difficult and you can definitely work around the reservation. The earliest FP+ times I am seeing are park opening.
