Does Enterprise allow one way rentals?

Ok so does anyone know if Enterprise allows one way rentals? I would like to rent from them in my hometown and then drive to the Detroit Airport and drop it off there.

I calculated that this will be cheaper than driving my own car and paying to park it. Please let me know if you have the answer. If not I'll call them tomorrow morning.

No...Enterprise does not do 1 way rentals...alll of their offices are individually owned and it is not a shared fleet. Sorry.

Sometime Enterprise does allow one way rentals, but only in the same general geographic area. However, you have to call and ask, and the rates may not be the same as those on the website. We had inquired about Enterprise for a pick up in North Miami and drop in West Palm, There was a $50 Surcharge. It was about an hour between the two locations. Another time a friend rented on cape cod and unexpectedly had to come home to western mass sooner than expected so rented with Enterprise. We inquired about dropping the car in Western Mass and the drop fee was $150. However, if we dropped it in Worcester (Central MAss) there was no fee.
Morale of the story - call and ask - it can't hurt.
As an aside, be sure to check other agencies websites for locations. For the Morth Miami - West Palm trip I found an Avis in a mall about 1.5 miles from where we were staying. No drop fee and less per day fee. They wouldn't pick us up, but since it was so close, we just walked. Even if it had been further, a $15 cab ride would have been less than the $50 drop fee.

This is a great idea! It sure would be easier than seaching for your car in the huge lot or worrying that some has dinged the doors.
Now I'm curious if there's a Budget rental office near PHL. Thanks!
