Does Early Online Check In Honor Previous Room Request?

Good morning. My question is I made a request after booking a BWI room for a king size bed. Since I should be arriving around 11am on the day of arrival I would like to use online check in to let them know I will be there early. I was wondering if they will try to find me an available room over my request for a king bed. I prefer the king over an early room.

Request for earliest available room overrides other requests. The check box text states that.

Did you book a specific king bed room? Or just requested it? I'm pretty sure they are a category.

I think BWI does not have the separate king category. PP is correct that if you selected early arrival as more important than king bed then you need to be prepared to possibly get 2 queens.

Not a lot of king beds at any resort . Unlikely a king bed will be ready early .
It is up to you which is most important.

Yes you do the online check-in to provide your arrival time. Just don't select any other options as they will override anything noted on your reservation.

And specifically as @Dug720 indicated above, if you pick "earliest available room" all other requests are ignored.

Just stop at the desk if you want to inquire about a an available King room if you have not received a Txt message with a room assignment.

You just ask a Frontdesk CM if there are any King rooms available "now" as that was your only request or you can wait until they notify your assigned room is ready. The CM can also confirm if you are currently assigned to a King room.
