Does DL ever extend the park hours?

At WDW if the parks are really busy they offen extend the park hours by an hour. Does this ever happen at DL?

I've been at California Adventure when they announced mid afternoon that they would stay open an extra hour.

It really wasn't that crowded in DCA but DL was packed. Possibly Disney extended DCA hours to prevent having to close DL gates by keeping people at DCA longer.
