Does "ditch" now mean the same as "diss"?

I was reading this post: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1645050

And I was feeling sorry for the poster who seemed to have had a very bad day.

But I'm very confused by how she's using the word "ditch".

I thought "ditch" meant to leave someone behind, or abandon someone. I checked the urban dictionary and it seemed to say the same thing.

So is this brand new slang, or is it something specific to where the OP lives? Or is it just that you all don't like using "diss" here on the disboards?

 :goodvibes

I thought the same thing, but figured it was a young poster and that she probably just mixed up the words.
