Does Disneyland have any plans for a water park?

My family goes to DL at least 3 or 4 times a year. A few months ago we went to Walt DIsney World in Florida for 11 days. My guys loved the water parks there (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach). So, I was just wondering if DL every plans to have a similar type of water park. Anybody know?

idk but it is a good idea. If they ahd a water park I could get DH to go more!

That's one reason they likely won't. The other is that we just don't have the weather for it here. Sure, we have great summers, and our winters are in the 60's, sometimes 70's, but when it can be in the 50's or low 60's until well into the afternoon for several months out of the year, it doesn't make sense to have a water park - it's just too cold. The water parks around here, like Knott's Soak City for example, are only open in the summer.

The guide we bought our DVC through told us it was going where the TS lot is... Of course there's no telling it will be for sure, but he did also tell us about the Grand expansion for villas before it was publicly released...who knows.

yeah for more hotel room..but not for a water park! we have water parks in the area here so no need to put another besides disney would loose money on it becuase during the winter it would notbe open
