Does Disneyland have a "front of the line pass"

My dad keeps asking me how much for the front of the line pass? I have never heard of such a thing. I mean I know about fast pass but he thinks there is some special ticket you can buy that gets you ahead in lines. I am thinking he thinks this may be especially nice as one of my children has high functioning autism and this is what my dad is calling our "once in a lifetime trip..he is paying..hehehe.

Any info you have would be appreciated! :worship:

There is nothing you can buy. Those with special needs can go to City Hall for a Guest Assistance Card which will serve different purposes based on the person's needs.

There are vip type tours you can book for $295/hour that will do that.

A large group from this boards has done the VIP tour twice. Both times we were not allowed to go to the front of the line at all.

VIP tours do not allow front of line access. The CM I talked to when I called mentioned this twice even though I didn't ask and said it was a fireable offense.

6 Flags does this too, but not DL, you just have to use FP. :) We did the Christmas tour, we got to the front of the line on HMH & IASWH, that was very cool as the lines were quite long for both but we still had to wait for both rides. :) We also had seats for the parade, that was the BEST part, that and the free cookie, hot chocolate (in a reusable mug) and pin! :)

I'm actually glad that DL doesn't offer this. Pretty quickly a class system could emerge. I think one of the reasons that they keep Club 33 a semi secret is so that people don't feel resentment.

There IS a guest assistance card, which is for people with invisible disabilities. It is not meant to shorten wait times in line. It can help with things like a less-crowded wait area (the wait will be just as long, but potentially less crowded). If you have a child with autism, go to City Hall or Guest Services in DCA and ask for one. The CM will explain how it works and will make you initial it to show you understand that you are not skipping lines.

The GAC can be used only for parties up to 6 people and is only used for attractions (not stores, character lines, buses, etc)

just like everyone has said, the GAC, but it doesn't get you to the front of the line, there maybe a slight wait time. and these are free, but you have to go to city hall to get one .

I've used the GAC a few times. It's been a life saver but certainly not to skip lines. The GAC line at Splash or Space is quite often far longer than the standby line but we can sit comfortably waiting our turn.

splash does have a single rider line, just as the CM at the fast past entrance to the ride!

Something else important to know:

You must actually have the child with you at the counter when you get a GAC. the GAC will be issued in HIS/HER name. You cannot use the GAC if the child is not riding the ride with you.

Remember the GAC can actually make for a longer wait time on many rides, and different times of the year. It does make it a nicer wait at times. The ONLY fotl pass is for Wish Kids.

As others have stated the GAC can mean longer waits. I have never needed, or used one, but I have noticed long lines at the exits.

On Pirates of the Caribbean (Anaheim) I have seen the GAC / wheel chair line all the way out the exit and into New Orleans square, and the regular line was "almost" a walk on.

you guys are great! Thanks for the info on the GAC.
I didn't think there was something you could actually buy to put you in the front of the line but thought it was worth asking. Thanks again!
