Does Disneyland have a dining plan?

I have never been to Disneyland, and don't know anything about it, but a friend of mine was asking if they have a dining plan like the World. She said my experience sounded wonderful, and she would love to have that choice. So I came to the experts here...do they?

They do, but it's nothing like the WDW DDP. There's little if any savings, and you have to carry around vouchers that are good up to a set $$ amount (such as $5, $10, etc). The best part is, when you spend the voucher, you can't get change back!

The only advantage to the DL dining plan is being able to prepay for some of your dining. IMO, the hassle, inconvenience and lack of savings are not worth it.
