Does Disney World send bill before balance is due?

I've never gotten one just before the due date. Just had to remember. One year I was one or two days late since I forgot I had changed my vacation start date by a few days and this moved up my balance due date. I thought I had lost my booking! With free DDP!

The CM I spoke to was very nice and said they allow a grace period. But don't quote me on it. This was about 4 years back.

I would circle the date on my calendar (actually a few days before) just to make sure I didn't forget.
