Does Disney transportation run until restaurants empty?

We have 2 ADR's that begin 10 mins before Epcot and MGM close. I know they used to say that the buses ran 1 1/2 hrs or so after a park closed. Now I've heard that they usually don't run that long. Do they wait until all restaurants have emptied before stopping transportation? I don't want to have to take a taxi back to POR from Epcot or MGM. Do I need to worry?

Transportation runs up to two hours after park closing.

They will absolutely not leave you stranded. If need be, they will call a bus to take you back to your resort. They have done this for me.

We experienced this one. We did a late ADR at BdP, ate every course, took our time, and rolled out of there at about 11PM. It was a really cool walk out of Epcot - it was empty, the music still played, everything was still lit up.

As we approached the main gate, a cast member asked us where we were heading. "monorail back to GF" I said confidently. He informed us the monorail wasn't running, and directed us to the bus area. Another cast member greated us there, and confirmed where we were going. About 3 minutes later, a bus pulled up, we got on, and it pulled away - clearly the largest limo we'd ever been on!

We talked to the driver on the way back. They will absolutely NOT strand you. They know how many guests are lingering in the park, and they will take you anywhere on the property - to any resort, to another park's parking lot, etc.

At TL a bus supervisor will show up about 30 minutes after closing and will stay there (and buses will be running) until we close the chain fence. Since we do not close the fence until Security has done a sweep and told us all guests have left, the buses will continue running until then.
