Disney Cruise Lines is owned by the Disney company. It's not under any other parent company.

A number of years ago, Disney did partner with Premier Cruise Line and the Big Red Boat was Disney themed and often combined with a trip to Walt Disney World. But since 1998, Disney cruise line is its own entity.

Disney certainly has a lot of licensing deals like Disney on Ice with Feld Entertainment. However, Disney Cruise Lines is owned and operated by the Walt Disney Company.

There was a time when Disney partnered with Carnival. This article is from 1994 and was about how they partnered with complete cruise and theme park packages, which I believe are exclusively DCL now.
