Does Disney provide cribs?

Good morning everyone. We’re taking our first trip to the world in February 2019 at this point our new addition will be 10 months. My question is does Disney provide a crib or a pack and play for us today? If so how was your experience?

They will provide a pack n play. Some of the resorts have a limited amount of metal cribs available, and those are first come first serve.

I don’t have experience. We rented a crib for our son as we thought he would be more comfortable in a full size crib for the week. Pack n plays have basically no padding.

We used the pack n play, my 21 month old was fine in it.

The tricky part is figuring out where to keep the pack n play. My daughter needs it pitch dark to sleep, so we had to stash the pack n play in the sink area of the room at POFQ, leaving a small opening to get into the toilet/shower area.

We used the pack n play with a 3 month old. Worked out well. We brought a sheet because we didn’t know they supplied one. It’s just your basic pack n play. No extra features. At 10 months you probably wouldn’t use the changing table or the top part anyway.

Never had an issue getting a crib at disney world from the hotel. Son will be 3 we have gone 6 times with him always received a regular crib.

We had the opposite experience. We requested one once, and didn't get it. We got a pack 'n play. My son was only 11 months old and was fine with it.

If you really, really want a crib and absolutely don't want a pack 'n play, rent the crib from the off-site company. If you are ok with a pack 'n play, just make the request with the resort.

We have always ordered one from off-site vendor with no issue. This is the first year we don't need one in a long time. Looking forward to that!

Yes! We called ahead to request a crib be added to our room. Worked out perfectly!

Similar question to this - does anyone know if Disney has bed rails? We go also in February and my youngest will be 2.5, she's getting too big for her pack n play and I was thinking we may just have her share a bed with her 4.5 year old sister, but would want her to have rails on one side. Wasn't sure if I needed to rent those or if they had some available. If it matters we'll be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I think they do...I have an almost 3 year old who will be in a queen bed by himself and I asked my TA to put in a request for bedrails. She’s a Disney-only TA.

I’m going to bring some foam bedrails though, just in case they don’t have them or are out when we get there.

Yes they do - and we have never had any issues getting them over numerous trips.

We usually just ask at the front desk or call mousekeeping from the room if we forget. We have always received them promptly or had them waiting in the room when we returned from the parks.

only problem with the bed rails we had was 3 year old grandson hated them and would kick them out. but he never fell out

which off site vendor do you recommend for a crib ?
We rented from a baby’s best friend. They were recommended to me by the Disney mom’s panel. They have full size regular cribs & regular 200 coil type mattresses. My DS is a GREAT sleeper right now & I don’t want to mess with that so I rented something as close to what he has at home.
