We are going in September and I have heard so much about Wishes, Illuminations, etc....I was wondering if Disney actually posted when, where, what time these type of events occur...I went to the Disney website and was unable to find anything...

Also, E-nights and Extra Magic hour - when do you find out about those? We will be staying at POR.

thanks!

We were just there in March, which was before I joined the Dis, and also first time we'd been there since 2001. When you check in they give you a little schedule that lists all kinds of information on the parks, resorts, how to get around, times of parades, times and hours of opperation of everything that will be going on during your stay. Also, when you enter the parks, in addition to picking up the park map make sure you pick up a times guide. It will tell you exactly when and where for everything. It will also tell you where the characters are going to be and what times. I hope this helps you.

So, how do you know what time to book certain PS' and where to be ahead of time for the events?

thanks for your help :)

The information is on the Disney web site.

Go to the web site, click on parks
click on the particular park
click on calender

You can then click on the numbers in the calender and it will go to a page with the information. For another date, you can stay on that page and click on the calender at the left.

Here is a link to where you should end up.

ALSO, this thread is on the Theme Park Attractions and Stretgies forum. If you go scroll up to the top, you will see a link for e-tickets, park hours. fireworks.

I guess you will have to wait for the 90 day mark, to do your PS, and also find out park hours, one of the Cm's I talked to said that they do not post hours until 3 mos before. Sorry, I am in the same boat.

:o :o :o

When I went to the Disney site and pulled down the calender scedule, September 2004 showed up. I did not go any further to check and see if there were hours posted. . I just figured you didn't know how navigate the Disney site.

Sorry.

Yep, guess I just have to wait a few days
I can be patient, I can be patient! haha
thank you Ed for the link. I went there before I posted in here to see if there was any other way to find the info.... guess not :)

thanks!

Ed,
I see what you mean - they do list it all...that is great
Thanks!

It seems that Disney posts the official hours about 60 days out. September hours should probably come up around 7/5. August hours came up just a few days ago. I wouldn't wait until the hours are posted to make your PSs. I've made mine at the 90 day mark and will adjust when the hours get posted. Ex/ I made a ressie at LTT at the 90 day mark and it is earlier than I want it to be, but I will call back early July after the Sept hours post to see what times have opened up. The offer "limited dinner" times until the official hours post, then they will open up more times slots, but for breakfast and lunch you shouldn't have a problem.

We will go to the Crystal Palace for our Character meal, my DD10 wants to see Tigger and Eeyore :)
