Does Disney offer free Ice Water?

If you're "funny about" your water, drink bottled water. Filtering didn't do much to improve the taste, IMHO.

I agree with Bicker. That water is terrible filtered, I can't image it unfilitered.

We travel bag-free in WDW. If it doesn't fit into our pockets we don't take it. But being the lazy bum I am, I'd hate to carry cokes around all day. Of course, if I had a stroller it might be okay. But DD18 is a little old for a stroller these days.

I agree, If it cant fit in my pocket I dont bring it... THe past few trips i havent even brought a Camera with me. I havent decided if I am going to this time or not.

With all it costs to go to Disney, a few more dollars for Soda and Water won't kill me

I dunno if it was just SO HOT when we went in August, but that free ice water was the best beverage ever! Seriously though, I generally only drink bottled water but this was good. Maybe it was because it came thru the soda machine and those have different filtration than a drinking fountain. I have an absolute rule against drinking from water fountains, they just gross me out. It took me a couple of days to figure out the water was free. I went up to a coke stand and asked how much it was for an ice water and the CM smiled and said it was free. They must love that glorious moment when they get to tell very thirsty people the water is free.

I'm a bit surprised (and impressed) that they haven't started charging for cups of ice, like a many other places. Just a little bit more of Disney's generosity.

My opinion: Free ice water is just something I expect, especially from a business that relies on its image as a provider of high quality, guest-friendly entertainment to grow its business.

Living in north-central Florida, I don't notice the acquired taste of our aquifer water any more, so I usually just drink from the water fountains, and I have iced tea with most of my meals, so it wouldn't really affect me personally if they did start charging. Still, it would strike me as greedy if they did.
Come to think of it, I don't remember having been anywhere in the US where I have gotten charged for ice water.
