Does disney do formal nights?

If so what is dress for formal night?

I am thinking of taking my mom and DD 6 and Ds 9 on a 7 night western cruise on Disney.

On our last 7 day western cruise we went all out and dressed to kill. I even rented two dinner jackets for my tux. White was worn on the second less formal evening but man did everyone look great.

The best part are all the great photographs, especially when we got to sit at the Captain's table on the second evening. The photos of my daughers, my wife with Captain Tom are always a topic of discussion when we have company. Can't wait for the 14 day cruise from California to Cape Canaveral next year. We will do it all over again.

Some people go all out--tuxes, formals, etc.

Most men probably are wearing nice suits, women cocktail outfits or dressy dresses. Boys in nice dress pants/dockers and shirts--some with jackets and/or ties. Girls in nice dresses, princess outfits, etc.

If we go all out, tux ect. We won't look out of place. My DH will not be happy if we drag his tux and he is the only one at the table wear it.

What percentage where tux vs suits?

I have sailed DCL 10 times and we always see less tuxes than suits but still enough that your hubby will definately NOT feel out of place.....if I could get my hubby in a tux I would!!!

I always wear a full length dress and so my my DD's...they usually wear their most recent prom/homecoming dresses....and I love the fact that they are getting more than one use of them!!

On Semi-formal night they wear cocktail length dresses and I wear a black pant suit.
