Does Destination D23 have special room rates/room block?

I was thinking of getting a D23 Gold membership, in light of the Destination D23 event at the Contemporary and the cool vinyl record and lunchbox that comes with the membership. Not sure the Gold member level is worth it if I can't attend the event. It looks like nearly all hotels are sold out for those dates. Are rooms set aside for event attendees that can't be booked by the public right now? Are there special rates? If we stay off-site, do we have to pay to park at the Magic Kingdom or is there parking at the Contemporary? Not sure if "resorts" is the right forum for this question, but posting here since I'm mainly asking about room availability/rates. Thanks.

They did in 2018 but haven't announced anything yet. They may not have done it for this year.

There’s nothing on the D23 site yet, just “coming soon”, sometime in July. I don’t know if they always have special rates, but they did offer discounts on some of the event hotels in Anaheim (in August?) a few years back, but we unfortunately couldn’t attend. If I see anything on the site, I will post.
