Does DCL transfer go to Port Canaveral the night before?

we are arriving the night before we leave but are looking to stay down in PC. Does DCL have buses that run there the day prior to a cruise? Or would we be on our own?

It is my understanding that Disney only offers transportation to and from either the MCO airport Hyatt or a Disney resort. They will transport you to the ship on cruise day from either of those locations. When you fly in Disney magic express will transport you from MCO to the resorts for free but next day transportation on DCL to the ship is $35 per person one way.

Some of the hotels at PC offer free shuttles some don't.

Hopefully someone more experienced than myself can explain it better.

You would be on your own. Disney cruise transfers only run on the day of cruise departure from MCO & WDW.

but, assuming you are already planning on getting a room, private transfers and even renting a car can be had for less than the cost for 2 on DCL transfer . . .

We usually go the day or days before our cruise and usually rent a car. Currently have one through Thrifty which was the least expensive even with the drop off charge. We will pick up at MCO on a Wednesday, stay at WDW for 2 nights then drive to Port Canaveral the night before our cruise. We will have the van to make any last minute trips to pick up items and have it to go out to dinner, will drop most of our group at the terminal with the luggage and then return the car to the rental office and hop on the rental shuttle back to the terminal to meet up with everyone.

I can't find any info on Thrifty's site... what do they charge for mileage? Do you get a certain number of miles free at all?
