Does DCL do anything special for 4th of July?

I'll be cruising the Magic on 7/3 We are scheduled to be in Key West on the 4th of July. Should we expect any 4th of July special activities or menu's?

DCL didn't do fireworks on the Magic last year- we were on CC. They released a limited edition pin on the 4th and had a big balloon drop (red, white, and blue) some with a slip of paper good for a 4th of July hat. I believe that the Wonder got fireworks but they were at Nassau so maybe you will get something nice since you will be at Key West.

Oddly enough...we were on the Wonder last year for the July 12th(?) cruise, and they DID have fireworks for us, even though they said they didn't do them for 4th of July!!! It was beautiful watching them from the ship out over the ocean...

From what I've heard, K.W. will have fireworks that will be visable from Mallory Sq. and the dock. I also heard there will be a deck party on the 4th with characters, etc. If you read the menu section of the plat. castaway site, click on special menus there is a menu from 7/4 a couple of years ago.

I hope it's as magical as it sounds to me. My DD will be 4 on the 4th!
I also read that K.W. will be packed with partiers and a happenin' place to be!
