I'm trying really hard not to _buy_ a tux from this place, but one potential "problem" with renting will be if Cruiseline Formalwear doesn't have straight ties. DW and I don't care for bowties and cummerbunds. Has anyone ever rented a straight tie with the vest from them?

You could BOYT (Bring Your Own Tie). CruiseLineFormal also rents vests ($15 or $20 depending upon style) so you wouldn't have to wear the cummerbund.

I was all set to rent the vest when I noticed that it's still a bowtie. So either I'll just buy and bring my own vest and straight tie and not rent a vest at all, or just wear a bowtie and not bother with getting my own.
