I got to be very chummy with the Queen of Hearts in MK our last trip. She was signing autographs and snapped a book shut and handed it to a 10 year old girl with her mother. The girl started to cry and the mother complained that she didn't have to be rude about the way she gave her the book and yelled at the CM. "Ummm, hello? It's the Queen of Hearts, lady!"
So, I was next, the CM looked a little shaken, and the Queen seemed at a loss. So I decided to bow. And bow some more. And stammer about how pleased I was to meet her highness, and how gracious she was to meet with one of her lowly subjects. And how I would be forever grateful. Could I hold her cape for her? And would she allow me to kiss the royal hand? So I got down on one knee and did just that. She perked up and began tossing her head, so I added, a "Kids? Who needs em?" And she made a slashing, "off with their heads" motion. Hilarious!
I love interacting with the villains. Appeal to their vanity. Grovel. Talk about how wonderful they are looking, and how shabby their corresponding hero/heroine has gotten, how the line to meet her/him is twice as long as it is to meet the good guy, about how misunderstood they are, how maligned they are in the press, suggest they fire their agent, that sort of thing.
