does crocs shrink?

Hi:

I don't know if this is a stupid question but I left my crocs in my car and they seem to have shrink; has this happened to any of you or it's just my imagination? but they are not as comfy as they used to be. I'm going to buy another pair for my next trip, and I'm 8 1/2 I bought them in medium, I should buy them in large now right? I just want to be as comfortable as possible. thanks

Yes they do! I put my DD's pair in the dryer for a little while b/c I had heard that they would be softer & conform to her foot better. Wrong! Instead, they shrunk! I was able to heat them back up a little & then cram my big foot in them until they cooled down conformed to my foot so that they would fit her comfortably.

I've seen photos of a pair of Crocs where one shoe got left inside a hot car and the other didn't. There was at least a full size difference between the two shoes, probably more. They definitely don't hold up to intense heat.

I was told to wash my Crocs in the dishwasher. Well, no one told me not to leave them in the heat cycle. I just throw them in the washing machine now
