Does Concierge Staff have special access for ADR's?

I'm curious if the Itinerary Planning/Concierge Staff has special access to ADR's? Do they hold back a certain number of ADR's for concierge level guests? I just booked a CL room at the BC for April and the Concierge was able to book OHana easily for 2 different nights. Typically, it's been impossible to get in there unless you book way far out. Is the restaurant getting less popular perhaps or did Concierge have extra tables reserved?

2) And, they do not hold back tables for concierge.
3) But, they are usually on top of any cancellations.

I don't have any facts to the contrary of what 'Scupper has posted, but I will offer this: our flight arrived hours later than originally scheduled and we missed our ADR for one of our favorites that evening. We'd been calling Disney dining every day to see if we could get in and were told it was booked solid. But on our next-to-last day there, we went to our resort concierge just on the chance that they could help and - voila! - we had a table for that evening.

While I would guess there's no guarantee, it doesn't hurt to try.

1) Sometimes an eatery will do a favor for a concierge.
2) Usually this is in the way of a last-minute goodie.
3) However, concierge do have "a little" pull with eateries at their own resort.

NOTE: At their own resort, the eatery will try to accommodate the concierge. Additionally, several resort eateries only book 80% of the capacity so they can allow walk-ups.

Thanks for the replies! So maybe OHana just isn't as popular anymore? We are going a few weeks after Easter and I literally just made the ADR's and we had our pick of times. I was surprised! I usually get shut out of OHana unless I book right at the booking window.

They can book BEFORE the normal dining window. For my trips, they booked my ADR and gave me the confirmation numbers before the (then) 90 day window.
