Does cirque du Soleil typically sell out?

We are planning on buying our tickets for the show a few days before the show, in order to utilize our cast member discount on the tickets.

How likely will we be able to get 5 tickets together that short notice? Would I be better off just paying full price to ensure I get tickets. I'm looking for a 6pm show on a saturday.

I'm wondering as well how early I should get tickets for 2. And do you choose your individual seats or just the section and then given a seat?

You choose section online. If you call I've been told you can get specific seats if they are available.
