Does CA opens a few minutes early for onsite guests?

Our trip is planned for Easter week and we are staying at the Grand Californian. I have a few questions about how things work in the morning. I see that there is a guest entrance to CA and that looks awesome. I also thought that I read that CA sometimes open a few minutes early for onsite guests and that Soarin is available to ride at this time. Can anyone please confirm? That is absolutely my favorite ride! Thanks in advance!

Was open at 0930 when we were there in August. Soarin was running.

When regular park opening is at 10 am, both the front gates and the DCA private entrance open at 9:30 am with Soarin being the only ride open and FP machine is on. It's not just for resort guests, everyone gets in at that time. Rope drop for the other areas occurs at 10 am or regular park opening.

However, during your dates I believe DCA is opening at 9 am. I am not certain if they will open the gates any earlier than that during that time.

Do you have insider info that DCA will open at 9 am? According to thecalendar on the DLR website, DCA is opening at 10:00 am the week before and after Easter.

I'm glad to hear that Soarin is open early! I also checked the official Disney calendar and saw that CA opens at 10. I'll have to remember to check again later.

DCA has been testing out a 9AM opening.

Currently, its available to 2fer bought from Vons but it can all change.
Its also rumored that with a 9AM opening, DCA early entry will still be in affect either at 8AM or 8:30AM. however, its all test and no exact confirmation.
