Does Blue Bayou stay open after park closes?

My boyfriend and I want to eat at the Blue Bayou on our first night at Disneyland, Disneyland closes at 8:00 pm that night. We usually eat dinner fairly late and it would be nice to maximize our time in Disneyland by making reservations for around 7:30. I was curious if anyone knows if the Blue Bayou lets people make reservations that close to closing time. I would only want to do it if it was common for people for stay at the Blue Bayou past closing time, I work in the food industry and I know first hand how obnoixious it is when people come in right around closing. Thank you!

I honestly have no idea, but have you tried calling them? I would guess that they wouldn't make the Priority Seating for that time if they close at the same time as the park.

When we did Blue Bayou last year, we did get a late PS (whatever the last one Disney Dining gave out, it was all that was left). We ate at a normal pace, didn't dawdle by any means, and did not feel rushed by our server. We were one of the last 2 tables checking out, even got to see the lights turned on in PotC. The park was definitely closed.

As we were leaving, 33 was letting some guests out as well, and the Club 33 escort was insistent that we stay with his group on the way out of the park. That was a bit odd, but kinda fun.

I'd check with Disney Dining and see what is available for PS (714) 781-3463, and tell them you'd like to try for a later seating.

Typically BB stops seating approx 1 hour before closing so they can try and get people to clear out before closing. But they won't push you out. If you want a later meal maybe think about DTD for a later meal and do BB for lunch!
