Or is it just me. There are these two girls I work with, and the complain all the time, nonstop, 24/7, about every single little thing. :sad2: It's constant; I don't want to be here, I want to go home, I hate everyone here, etc. Every day it's something else.

Yesterday, (I only saw one of the girls,) and she didn't want to clean, so she just walked around with cleaning supplies, then she went home two hours before me, and guess who got stuck cleaning? :headache: She also tries to get people to lend her a few dollars every day for a meal, which I did, twice, but she never pays anyone back, so I, (and just about everyone else,) have quit lending her money, since there's no way she'll ever pay it back. Then the other day she took a break that lasted half an hour or so, (breaks are supposed to be fifteen minutes.)

The other girl isn't as bad, at least she'll (usually) do her work. But there's a day every so often when she also just walks around and does nothing.

It's not just me who's fed up with these two, most of my other co-workers feel the same way, but since we're a Union company, and they're both past 90 days of employment they can't get fired without jaust cause. :sad2:

Yes a few here but particularly our receptionist, she is the biggest moron!! And to boot its funny that this thread is here cuz we are having an email thing exchange about somethine she refuses to have responsibility for...ugh!!!

Oh yeah. We've got a co-worker that KNOWS EVERYTHING. She's SO much smarter than the rest of us. She's the most patronizing and condescending person I have ever worked with. Interestingly enough, she's the same level as the rest of us-she's not a manager or anything-even though she thinks she is. The funny thing is she's got one of those high pitched squeaky voices, I guess she thinks it makes her sound cute...WRONG. We all just laugh at her behind her back.

She figures prominently in my material for Confession...

Well I have a selection of 3 to 4 girls in all of my classes at UCF that I really can't stand. If that counts. :confused3

Yep! And the sad part is that my DH and I own the business but it is what it is.

Uhg, my boss! He's a mega-weenie. He has zero sense of humor, but expects people to laugh at the dumb things he says - he even stands there, staring at people, waiting for a laugh. Bleh, weenie! :rotfl2: He's also a terrible manager. No one can get straight answers or anything done right the first time. He micromanages everything because he can't stand to let anyone else have any control. He hoards information and keeps his entire team in the dark until the last minute, then gets pissy that people can't bend their schedules around a 24 hour notice.

My new manager and I'm not the only one who can't stand him. The guy isn't used to working in a building where he actually has to do anything! He got transferred over a few weeks ago and I guess at the other 2 stores he's worked at he just walked the floor and that was it. No getting any projects done or anything. He's constantly leaving the safe open at night. He didn't clean AT ALL on Tuesday night. My boyfriend (who's another manager) was about to have a fit when he got in at 4am Wednesday morning. He was so pissed he took pictures and showed them to our store director.

The man wrote scripts for all the cashiers and taped them to the counter. He complained because mine was covered. Uh, yeah, sorry, but I've got 5 other things that I NEED to have in front of me. Your script is not one of them. He threatened to write me up because I was having a bad day and honestly didn't care about anything he was saying. Was I wrong in my attitude? Yes but when I'm talked to like I'm a 5 year old, it pisses me off. He's constantly hovering over me and it drives me nuts. One day I'm just gonna go out swinging because of the way he talks to me. It's beyond ridiculous. I'm 21 years old. If you have a problem with me take me aside and say something. Don't hover over me nor get pissy when I don't do something the exact way you want it done. I work at my own pace in my own time. As long as I get the work done, what's the problem?

I've heard nothing but complaints about him in the last 2 weeks and it's getting worse as the days go on. Somedays I want him to write me up because our store director loves me and will probably just laugh at it.

Thank you for letting me vent! I'm dreading Sunday because I have to work with him then. It's gonna suck!

Yes, our new district manager. He's decided to "make a splash" by arbitrarily enforcing a slew of new rules he's come up with. He's driving our poor store manager absolutely insane with spot inspections, constant haranguing (I manage the office on Saturdays and have seen emails that would have driven me to quit amid a barrage of profanity months ago ;) ). His latest is that we're no longer allowed to wear Crocs to work. They've been the only thing that's made walking ~14 miles a day on that ridiculously hard floor tolerable, and even then, I'm in pain most of the time. In really good running shoes, the pain is horrific. I honestly don't know how long I'm going to last there at this rate.

I have a co-worker who's causing problems. He used to be management (Program Director) and went down with the rest of us part-timers. He got a new day gig. Over the past few months, a group of us have turned him in for his attitude. Very holier than thou. He's also *forgetting* he responsibilities. We still can't find important docs he's put away. The bosses at this point are just documenting everything.

What I don't get is if he no longer wants to work at the station, why not just quit rather than try to get the bosses to fire him. And yes he's getting that close. :confused3

We have a few!

One is the worst. He's a mister know it all, condescending and just damn rude!

Time for another Psycho Sue post...

She comes in late every day. Then she flits around, getting coffee, chitchatting with everyone. She makes her way to her desk around 10-10:30. She takes a 20-minute smoke break every hour. She leaves for an hour for lunch, clocks back in, then proceeds to take another 30 minutes to go eat her lunch in the breakroom. She leaves by 4:45 every day, even though we work until 5. She complains constantly of how swamped with work she is. She plays her ipod at top volume, often without her headphones on, and she sings along. She and the 19-year-old kid behind us have "play fights" where she chases him and hits him. She hits other people, too, like our boss (she's 4'11" so she has to defend herself, she says). One time in the parking lot, she saw me walking out, so she motioned to me to go ahead. I did, and she floored her accelerator, stopping just inches from my knees, then laughed. She tells me that I'm scary and that I'm crazy. She gets on the phone at least 3 times a day and yells at her husband/boyfriend (I'm not sure if she's married or not) and their son.

She was actually the receptionist when I started here. She made me "late" for my interview, because she didn't show up until 8:15, then gave me a dirty look and told me "I'm not here yet, so you'll just have to wait until I'm ready to announce you." Then she banged around for a few minutes before throwing an application at me and saying "Go over there and fill this out." I had no idea I would end up eventually working WITH her...

ughh i used to work with my FILs wife and it was awful! she had NO CLUE whatsoever on what she was doing and we would ALWAYS have to clean up her mess :sad2: THEN she never answered her work cell on the weekends when we needed help with her messes :sad2: she was and still is ridiculous! Oh and when she was actually in the office, she was trying to fix up my THEN fiance now DH with woman in the work place?!?! she's still the witch she always was!

You know I only have ONE... which is rare because I usually have PLENTY.

I am blessed to have a great group of people who work very hard and diligently. We just have that one pimple... doesn't everybody? I try to concentrate on the good ones!:thumbsup2

 I used to have a boss who treated me like a five-year old. It was so condescending, and made me feel so stupid sometimes.

Yeah...a few. The older I get the less I tolerate people who are/act ignorant.

Many! Many! Many! Most were ones that my mother hired to work in our office. She hires employees like some people take in strays. :sad2: But she wasn't the one who had to work with them. I did!!
