Does anyone use Owner's Locker?

I would have loved one when we used to take at least three trips a year. I want to convince myself to get one, but we do travel to places other than disney. Right now all of those things that I would put in an OL would also be used for other trips. I would have to spend quite a bit to duplicate our vacation items. But it would be so great to just toss clothes in a carryon! We have cut down to just one longer trip a year now, but it would be fun to watch for a great airfare sale and take a quick carefree trip.

How do most people handle the initial packing of the locker? A rental car to a local target, packing it all in your luggage, one large order from a grocery store, shipping down a carton full of items to stock it?

Dh and I are talking about getting an OL. I'm the suitcase packer & he's suitcase hauler, so we both have something to gain by getting one. He's on-board but I'm having trouble getting past the yearly price. I'm slowly convincing myself that the time I would save by no longer having to prepare or shop for all of those little 3oz toiletry bottles will be worth it.

We get a rental car and make a stop at Target on the way to the resort so we would shop for items once we're there and just bring the things we already own (ponchos, wireless router, folding hamper, brita, etc).

BirdsofPreyDave: I am jealous you have room for booze. My OL is full of Brita pitcher, ponchos, chargers, some Disney teeshirts, and a set of melamine dishes we should probably take home. We also have a fan, nalgene bottle, coffee, tea, instant oatmeal, and microwave popcorn. Oh yeah, also some glow in the dark bracelets. And there's that George Foreman Grill. It's FULL.
And i love the text messages from Brian and John.

It makes our "cottage down south" a little more homey.

If you have to pay for checked luggage, you can just travel carry-on and your owner's locker is paid for with your savings.

All the little items that are so easy to forget to pack and are overpriced at the gift shop--sunscreen, nailclippers, bandaids--they're in my locker!

And my favorite reason--a set of sheets. I love to travel but hate hotel beds and sheets. We've joked about getting an Owner's Locker for our TempurPedic, but until then, at least I can have really good sheets. :)

WE LOVE Ours! We invested right before our december honeymoon.
When we got to BLT, it was waiting for us. We went shopping. I bought a good hair dryer & straightner to keep there instead of lugging the heavy tools each time.

We also bought all of our toiletries, a power cord, and several other items.
It was so wonderful when we arrived at BWV last week, and all of our stuff was waiting for us!

It was also awesome to not have to worry about packing any cremes. lotions, heavy hair dryers, etc.

We also keep sweatshirts, ponchos & flip flops.
They are quite roomy, but addicting!
As soon as we have a little one, we plan to purchase another one :goodvibes

I was debating this just the other day with adult DD. I would love to have one and keep sundries, ponchos, Brita, a pair of walking shoes, booze, you name it! I just can't pull the trigger on this yet....what's my PROBLEM???:confused3

Get an owners locker!!! It stores all that extra stuff plus all of your regular traveling stuff! I have games, coloring books and pool toys for the kids. Fuzzy slippers in there for me plus all of our toiletries. John and the gang at owners locker are professional and have great customer service. It makes going to disney more fun because I get to 'visit' with my locker.
