I don't think I've seen anyone mention LGMHs on here for a long time. Do people still do them?

I found a new rubber key chain type LGMH that reminded me of a cookie cutter. It will be on my messanger bag during my October DisMoon this year. Sadly my previous 2 LGMH's lost their ear after a while.

I gave mine away after our last (which was our first) trip. There are no Home Depots in our area, so I was thinking about making a few. But if people are doing them any more, I don't want spend the time and money on them.

My daughter wore hers in June and I think we only saw one other the whole week. Is the trend over?

Never had the interest in them, never seen any in all our trips, though I never really looked for them. these seem to be going the way the croc threads have gone.

Hey,
I still use my homemade one from a Home Depot Swatch. It's nicely protected with plastic and it clips onto my hideous fanny pack that only comes out for a Disney vacation :)

i do i have my lime mickey head from home depot. last time i was at disney they had key chains lime mickey head and my mom got me a lime green croc key chain

i wear my mickey head every trip and always see others! my last sept trip we got as far as tf green airport in RI and met a DIS family before we got on the plane:)

Excuse my ignorance...what is the Lime Green Mickey Head? :confused3

Home Depot has free paint chip samples in the shape of Mickey's head. Some people display the lime green chips (actually, Alien Green) while at the theme parks to let other visitors know that they're members of the DISboards. It's a great way for members to meet. :)

Yes, I almost met a disser that way. She had posted a lgmh in her resort window and I saw it when we went past. I left her a note to let her know what room I was in if she wanted to meet up. Told her I didn't have a lgmh, so she would have to go by room number. Turned out she was checking out that day but she did the nicest thing -- when we came back to the room that night, we had a delivery -- a box filled with water and power drinks and some lgmh! :goodvibes I posted one in our window and wore one on my fanny pack. Never attracted any other dissers though. When I came home, someone posted to the forum that they needed some maps so I sent her my maps and my lmgh.

I had mine last week, but didn't see any others. But I did see a bunch in September.

Go to the Creative DISign boards. they make some great unique ones. I wear them on my shirt sleeve. :goodvibes
Penny:flower3:

I made mine out of sticky lime green felt that I got at an arts and crafts store. (Micheal's) With the felt I can make them big or small. :)

Met a few dissers last summer, one lady said her sister was talking about me because of the large stroller/no stroller thread, and the other lady found out my name and then stopped talking to me! I must have offended her somehow. Maybe it was because of the "adults only resort" thread.

I usually have mine on something that I take in the park. Met one Disser on the Magic Behind the Steam Trains tour.

I have some extra LGMH for anyone that needs them. Just PM me with address and I will send them out. I try and pick them up when ever we go to Home Depot. DH thinks I am nuts.

I have luggage tags that I made with the Self Laminating sheets and the LGMH. I also put them on my dance bags so when I go to dance convention I can spot my bag from out on the floor.

I do! I tape them (cause, I suck at laminating!) to my clothes, and my backpack. I tried to catch up with this one woman I saw in an ECV with a LGMH on the back... but those things go too fast! Never seen one anywhere else, though.

These sound like such a good idea, shame I don't know how to get them in the UK :(

It not like the paint swatch from Home Depot is considered "The Official LGMH of the DIS TM" any light green material in the shape of mickey will work.

You just need some sort of suitable material colored lime green (its actually the color of the green aliens in the claw machine in Toy Story) and cut it out in the shape of Mickey. I'm thinking craft foam or felt.

The actual size of the paint swatches is about 2 inches wide.

For mine I added a Mickey sticker I made just to fancy it up and then laminated it.
