Does anyone still collect TY beanie babies??

I cannot tell you how many we have - DD just packed hers away in a storage bin ...but I seem to still buy them for myself. Been into the bears lately - actually DD bought me the "Mother" and "Bloom" for Mothers Day. They are sitting atop my computer moniter along with the USA and UK "Hero" bears.

Yep, I have a bin full in my closet that my 16 year old DD collected years ago. I haven't bought any in a long time but DD's boyfriend gives them to her on occasion.

Every now and then I get the itch to buy another one but try to resist. My kids have tons that are now lying around and I've got a bunch tucked away in a bag. I do have a few out on display and like to get seasonal type ones to display at appropriate times.

My daughter has a bunch put away. But, her 6 year old brother spends his allowance on the "dog" beanie babies.

I don't mind because they are inexpensive and he uses his allowance.

As a collectible, Beanie Babies are pretty much dead. People DO buy the new bears when they come out, but that's about it.

I have far too many of them. I do try to resist buying them now, especially since i can't remember which I have most of the time.

Occasionally DD gets a new one. We don't buy them like we did five years ago.

a few years back, i bought every single one that i could get my hands on! but after i got with my DH, i chose to collect only the bears and maybe something that i find too cute to pass up. i've been pretty good about it...but i haven't bought any of the bears recently...i do have tubs upon tubs of the beanie buddies though. i haven't purchased any of those at all since my divorce...my ex kept all of the beanie babies, except for some of the bears and i got the beanie buddies! i thought about trying to sell them, but DH said to hold on to them for our kids...

My Dh and I have herds of them bewtween us. We still buy one here and there. I tend to still buy international ones and any polar bears they may bring out, he buys a bear here and there.

I buy ones I think are really cute. Mostly the bears nows some are to hard to pass up.
My 3 yr old likes the dragon and dinosaur ones.

I have a ton of them too... but I dont buy them anymore unless they are for gifts. I just bought the USO one yesterday for my brother... so so so so so cute...

I only watch for seasonal versions now because I think that they make cute decorations. DS and I were into that craze and it was a lot of fun! DS has given up some of them but still won't give all of them up especially the dogs and bears.

Yes, I still collect them but was never in it to sell them. I have over 100 maybe 200 now. I only buy them if I really like them. My favs are the unique animals, especially reptiles. My absolute favorite one I think is my hooded lizard. If I ever saw it in a buddy version I'd buy it in a sec.
