Does anyone still collect pins???

our DD 9 collects them, only trades once in a great while. She came home last week from our trip with 15 more!! We bought her a pin traders notebook, which is half full now. :goodvibes

When we were there in november it seemed to be going strong. It was the first trip were I traded and I really enjoyed it. Like some other posters said I carry them in my bag and not on a lanyard. :goodvibes

Disney went overboard in making so many pins, it has discouraged me from collecting. I have approximately 200 (lots of cruise pins) and am going to auction them off.

I feel the same way as the poster immediately above this one. We caught the "fever" when lanyard pins first came out. But, after a short time, it became apparent that everyone, including us, had lanyard pins. In addition, it seemed that Disney could always just print more and more and more and more. I know that there are certain sets of pins which are limited edition of 2500 or whatever but, there are more and more of these limited edition sets to collect. I think the next time we go back we will save the $100 - $200 in pins that we had been spending.
