That is when we first thought about doing it and we didn't. BIG REGRET...but can't remember what resort they were selling for. Thanks

They were selling Disney Vacation Club later changed to Old Key West.

The only one is existence was OKW, but they simply called it 'Disney Vacation Club'. Renamed it to OKW when they started to build VB, HH, and BWV.

Yeh my BIL bought in for $49/pt......14 years of vacations later and he could sell for almost twice as much.

Ya but how much money is worth now compared to then. A million $ in 1993 was a Ton of money but a million now really isn't that much. Not saying $49pp is close to 101pp. Because everything hasn't double by anymeans but its close to 79pp now a days. Just my two cents.

It was OKW but back then they were just calling it "Disney Vacation Club Resort." And boy was it nice, comparing to now, to get them for $49/per point! Hope this helps and answers your question! :)

I believe the original pre construction price was $48 per point and it quickly went to $50 per point. I'm thinking it was around $58 per point in mid 1995 and went up a couple of times quickly to somewhere around $62.75 per point. I think there's a list of actual prices somewhere around the boards but I don't have it filed, maybe someone else does.

I don't remember point cost from back then...but I remember it being like 11000 but don't even remember the total points that got.
