On another vmk fan site that SpinMarty participates in, I saw the following:

"The Roulette Coffee Table is none other than the Water Trough sold in Frontierland. It used to be called the Roulette Coffee Table (I bought it back in BETA when it was: it was one of my first pieces of furniture and it went in my first room, The Garden) and it used to be sold for much less back in Beta days: about 300 credits I think if I remember correctly. So, it is available, I think they probably decided to change the name to something more kid appropriate."

I have no idea how they could call the water trough a roulette coffee table.
It looks nothing like a roulette table.

I object! SO they dont releasw it just because of kids. Kids gamble and play TH witht there familys. Unfair!

yes I can not see the water trough being called a coffee table either...sorry but I just don't beleive that one.

As I recall from beta days, this was an item that caused a lot of speculation as to what it was. I believe the water trough was always that and the roulette table was an item never released.

The water trough is indead the roulette table by another name. I too bought this item in beta and it was only $300. I remember thinking how cool it would be to have the water drain out or the water flip over to reveal the roulette table. Obviously, they thought twice about the gambling thing.

The water trough and roulette table are separate and distinct items. Water Trough is item 64, and Roulette Coffee Table is item 43.

Roulette Coffee Table has not yet been released in the game.
