Does anyone remember if there were codes for last October?

Here is my dilemma. The only way we can visit the mouse this year is with a great room rate and low airfare. I can snag non refundable air for $200/pp EWR to MCO right now. But I'm afraid that if I book it they will not offer codes for mid to late Oct this year. If I wait until possible codes come out (looking for mod at around $99/nt.) that I'll miss out on the airfare. I know this sounds ridiculous but we have a specific budget and we need to go in mid-Oct before my daughter turns three. I know there were codes last year that ran through Oct. 4th and then again in Nov. I know it's wishful thinking but I'm hoping that if there was a promotion last year it might follow the same dates this year.

WE went last year from 8/25-8/30, and there was a "fall" code. I do believe it expired September October time frame.

So far no codes have come out after 8/24. We were trying to have a split on/off site stay, and that isn't happening, since the codes aren't out yet.

I'm looking for them too, but right now I have 14 days on an offsite hotel booked.

Last year we got a code in October. We got AKL for 139 per night (standard view). There were codes for the moderates at that time as well.

Hope they come out with some for the same time this year.

We went last Oct. and there were lots of really good deals on the resorts. Disney offered lots of codes all year, actually, but especially after Sept. 11. Whether they offer more this year really depends on how well the resorts are booking. I would recommend booking the best deal you can get for now and then at least you have a room if nothing better becomes available. On the bright side, Disney seems to be releasing the codes farther in advance this year than they did last year. Good luck.:)

Last October we got an AP rate of $49.00 per night at the AS.
We had 2 rooms and stayed almost 2 weeks.
This was all booked pre 9/11 BTW.

There were many October codes last year! We booked WL for $144 a night; I believe moderates were being offered at $99 and values at $59.

We stayed at the all stars last Sept/Oct for $49 on a code. We booked before Sept. 11

Last year was an exceptional October for discounts. The previous year I paid full price Columbus Day weekend, and I tried for months to get a discount. If the resorts start filling up again, that might be the situation. If attendance is down, though, I think they'll do discounts.
