Does Anyone Remember CAMP DIS? Interested in doing it again!

Hi all! It's me and I am back on the boards again. I have been busy doing so much other stuff, I had to give up the boards for a bit....

A couple years ago, Jack & I organized "CAMP DIS" which was a long weekend camping/ pin trading event.

We live in central NY, but we set up the camp in a state park near Six Flags Darien Lake & Niagara Falls. We did it over the 4th of July holiday and would like to know if there is any interest in doing it again.

If so, Please write us at dizpinlvr@yahoo.com - and once we know an approximate number of people interested. we will post more information.

We had people from all over and what we did was - during the day, everyone did their own family things - like sight see, Darien Lake etc... But we would set a time in the late afternoon early evening when pin trading would begin, and we would trade until everyone was too pooped to trade anymore.

So who's up for a CAMP DIS experience?

Of course I remember Camp DIS! It was a great time! DS STILL talks about it and he was only 7 at that time!

Unfortunately, I am not able to make a trip like that this year.

But I hope others on the board can!

Of course you picked ANOTHER weekend I can't make it. I will be at the parks collecting those Star Spangled event pins I hope. Maybe we will finally meet at the event in September. Peggie
