I found it in my cabinet, and have NO instructions to it. Its some kind of Pressure Cooker for Frying Chicken. It looks just like a Pressure Cooker, but it screws UP to hold the lid in place. Thanks!:confused:
 
It is a pressure cooker made in the 60's and 70's Wearever is now out of business; I believe they were bought by Mirro.

Try doing a google search; you'll come up with all kinds of bb's with copies of the instruction manual and recipes.
 

I have had one for years. Absolutely fabulous chicken, many sites have the manuals on the web.
Use the same reasonable care as you would with a regular pressure cooker and no problem.
